30 Years of Golf at Rasmushof in Kitzbühel

The wonderful Rasmushof ranks among the founding members of golf sports in Tirol. Some 30 years ago, Tirol's first private golf course was built here.

History

The Reisch family is famous for their pioneering spirit: already in 1896 Franz Reisch brought the first skis to Kitzbühel, in 1978 the Reisch family constructed the province's first privately owned golf course at Rasmushof. Not only the locals from Kitzbühel but also an infinite number of famous personalities – such as the former German football star Franz Beckenbauer – discovered their liking for the green sports right here. Together with many other golfers, they enjoyed chipping and putting amid wonderful surroundings.
Therefore the Rasmushof laid the foundations for Kitzbühel as a "Golf Center in the Alps".

The Rasmushof Golf & Country Club was founded in 2002. It has some 400 members, many of them are "distance members".

The pioneering spirit of the Rasmushof team, the great experience and the number of excellent golf pros is really unique. Passionate golfers will find here everything they could possibly desire for a wonderful golf day:
9-hole golf course for all levels and abilities (located right in the finish area of the legendary "Streif" downhill track), roof-covered driving range, putting and chipping green, Golf Academy, pro shop and many more highlights.

On the occasion of the yearly held "Kitzbühel Golf Festival" the renowned Rasmushof also plays host to the exciting "Streif Attack" and "Gourmet Tournament" golf competitions.

Special guest: Wayne Gary Player

The world's golf elite loves to get together at Rasmushof in Kitzbühel. Wayne Gary Player - one of the most successful golf pros and son of the golf legend Gary Player – spends his holidays at Rasmushof and at the same time he will be available for some golf demonstrations and training units. Signe Kramheller-Reisch could convince him to do so! In July a great number of supporters will head for the golf course at Rasmushof in order to admire their idol or to meet him personally.
